Thanks to the cooperation with various partners in local governance worldwide, we are able to offer training programmes that address theory, practice and regional context. They provide trainers with hands-on experience in local governance from different parts of the world as well as cases and best practices from a wide range of municipalities.

Our strategic partners are:

• VNG International, The international cooperation agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities;
• United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG);
• R4R-Europe (Residents for Regeneration);
• CMRA, The Centre for Municipal Research and Advice in Pretoria, South Africa;
• MEPCO, The International Advisory Centre of Municipalities in Prague, Czech Republic;
• EUKN, European Urban Knowledge Network, assists urban professionals throughout Europe in their day-to-day activities by providing access to practical knowledge of European cities and scientific knowledge of European universities;
• The UN Habitat Seville Centre for City-to-City cooperation.

In addition, we cooperate with ministries, citizens organisations and various institutes in the field of governance and international cooperation such as Leiden University, the Birmingham School of Public Policy, the European Urban Knowledge Network and the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies in Rotterdam.
